Geptu PMS

Comparison

Geptu vs Cloudbeds

Two different answers to the same question. Cloudbeds rents you a large platform by subscription; Geptu sells a small hotel its own complete system and keeps the monthly fee low.

The short version

Cloudbeds is a well-known cloud hotel platform sold mostly to mid-size and larger independents: a PMS, channel manager and booking engine, with a marketing suite, payments and a website platform sold around it. Pricing is by quote. Third-party listings in 2026 put small-property plans at roughly $100 to $220 a month and the larger plans in the hundreds, before implementation fees and add-ons.

Geptu is built for boutique hotels, lodges and guesthouses that run tours, transport and meals as well as rooms. You buy the full system once and then pay as low as $25 a month, with the booking website, channel manager, extras catalog, accounting and WhatsApp messaging already inside.

When Cloudbeds is the better choice

If you run a 150-room property, need a large marketplace of third-party integrations, or want a vendor with offices in several countries, Cloudbeds is a sound choice and you should talk to them. Geptu does not try to be that.

When Geptu is the better choice

  • Your hotel sells more than rooms: boats, guides, park entries, meal plans, airport runs. Geptu treats those as first-class products, not add-ons.
  • You want the website, channel manager and accounting without three more subscriptions.
  • You would rather own the system than rent it, and a monthly bill in the low tens matters more than a long feature list.
  • Your team is three people and the phone is the second screen.

Questions people ask

Can I move from Cloudbeds to Geptu without losing my bookings?

Yes. Future reservations, guest records and rates are imported during setup, and the channel connections are switched over on a day you choose so nothing double-books.

Does Geptu connect to Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb like Cloudbeds?

Yes, through Channex. Rates, availability and restrictions go out every two minutes and OTA reservations land on the calendar by themselves.

Is the $25 a month real?

Yes. It applies after the purchase of the full system, which is quoted per hotel. Over five years that is usually far less than renting a cloud PMS and its add-ons. The pricing page shows the arithmetic.

Cloudbeds and Little Hotelier are trademarks of their owners. Geptu is not affiliated with either. Their prices and plans are quoted from public third-party listings as of October 2026 and change often; check the vendor's own site before deciding. Our figures are ours.
